Industrial Hygiene Services for the 377th Medical Group, Kirtland AFB, New Mexico
HazAir provides full-spectrum industrial hygiene services, including air sampling, wipe sampling, ventilation surveys, sound level surveys, noise dosimetry, analysis of sample results, corresponding Defense Occupational and Environmental Health
Readiness System (DOEHRS) entries, and any other final recordkeeping processes necessary at the shop level. HazAir applies engineering and scientific knowledge in identifying, quantifying, and controlling hazards in the workplace.
This project also includes the performance of other industrial hygiene services, such as periodic shop surveys, as needed.

Multiple Locations, Nevada
Under this contract, HazAir provides a full spectrum of environmental services, including program management, planning, environmental compliance, ISO 14001 compliance support, and
National Environmental Policy Act to multiple AFMC operating locations in the Southwest. Using full-time on-site staff and off-site staff with extensive DoD and technical experience, we successfully manage more than half the environmental compliance programs for AFMC/OL-N installations. Additional duties, often performed with little notice, include occupational health evaluations and sampling of old structures and facilities to ensure USAF personnel have a safe working environment.
Air Quality and EPCRA Support
Kirtland AFB, New Mexico
HazAir provided support for the Kirtland AFB Air Quality and EPCRA Compliance Support project by providing Title V, Construction, and Source Registration (minor source/NSR) permit maintenance, recordkeeping, monitoring, and reporting services to Kirtland AFB in addition to
EPCRA reporting support. HazAir provided both on-site and off-site support by technical experts to support KAFB.
Storm Water Inventory and Management Plan
VA Memphis Medical Center, Tennessee
In support of the VA Memphis Medical Center (MMC), HazAir prepared a storm water inventory and storm water management (SWM) study in support of the VA MMC’s final goal of developing a Storm Water Management Plan and/or Storm Water Pollution
Prevention Plan (SWPPP) for the entire campus. The stormwater inventory and SWM study were completed in compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations and EPA’s stormwater requirements. Additional tasks included a dye trace study, archived drawing review, mapping of the existing conveyance system, and development of preliminary engineering designs for projects identified during investigation and infrastructure mapping.
Archaeological Inventory: Poodle Mountain Wilderness Study Area, Washoe County, Nevada
This project consisted of an archaeological inventory with high site density to mitigate the effects of a dozer line created during fire suppression in the Poodle Mountain Wilderness
Study Area. The project area was in the BLM - Black Rock Field Office, Winnemucca District, covering approximately 27.8 acres. The survey was completed on a compressed schedule with built-in weather contingencies to allow for spring seeding to occur. In addition to recording and evaluating the identified sites, HazAir provided an assessment of site damage caused by prior earth-moving activity.
Emergency Operation Plan and Tabletop Exercise
Grant County, New Mexico
HazAir completed a new Emergency Operation Plan (EOP) and Tabletop Exercise (TTX) following the Homeland Security Exercise and Evaluation Program guidelines. The TTX focused on activation of the Emergency Operations Center and testing the EOP for relevancy, accuracy, and ease of use. A recovery scenario was used to evaluate the County’s response to the aftermath of a large hazardous materials spill. Grant County was provided with an
After-Action Report and Improvement Plan, resulting in an updated EOP.
