Company and Services Overview Customer Value Systems International, LP (CVS) was established in 1994 and is located in Houston, Texas. We are a global provider of best-in-breed research and consulting services across a range of client needs, industries and population segments, including both government and commercial accounts globally. CVS is a worldwide research firm specializing in advanced strategic research and consulting on various population attitudes and behaviors. Its goal is to help clients better understand their audiences, evaluate methodologies, population needs and opinions, and develop strategies and policy plans to serve core constituents. Many of these studies involve measuring the impact of trends and program changes on constituent attitudes and behavior.

Services cover an array of core specialized consulting and research practice areas including:

Qualitative research methodologies include techniques such as focus groups (in-person and online), cognitive testing, individual interviews (IDIs), ideation sessions, online communities, social media monitoring, ethnographies and related observational designs. CVS also has capabilities in a variety of survey and data collection tools, CATI and CAPI survey tools and audit programs, database design and modeling, queries and coding of data from a variety of sources and formats, and utilization of advanced statistical analysis software such as SAS, SPSS and others.

ODC Descriptions:

Research Services

The research services are comprised of the following services and work under this contract –

· Survey research services such as studies conducted by telephone, in-person, web surveys, mail survey or other forms of survey research;

· Other services related to surveys would include

· sample sources and sample purchase,

· segmentation data acquisition and append,

· survey software licenses,

· software for data analysis and modeling,

· analytical services and reporting services

· presentation development,

· trend analysis,

· coding of survey responses,

· documentation of the survey process and

· other operational work such as call center management.

· A separate class of services are qualitative studies such as:

· focus groups,

· individual interviews,

· cognitive interviewing,

· ethnographies or immersive research,

· participant observation and

· other qualitative research services;

· support services for qualitative studies include:

· facility rental,

· video and audio recording of meetings,

· respondent and/or client food during sessions,

· respondent incentives,

· video editing,

· equipment rental,

· website hosting,

· remote streaming video services,

· language translation,

· manual and automated transcription services and software,

· cloud storage of audio and video content from interviews/sessions,

· simultaneous translation services and

· other services related to the hosting and facilitation of meetings and conduct of group sessions.

Service Contract Labor Standards: The Service Contract Labor Standards (SCLS) is applicable to this contract as it applies to the entire Multiple Award (MAS) Schedule and all services provided. While no specific labor categories have been identified as being subject to SCLS due to exemptions for professional employees (FAR 22.1101, 22.1102 and 29 CRF 541.300), this contract still maintains the provisions and protections for SCLS eligible labor categories. If and / or when the contractor adds SCLS labor categories / employees to the contract through the modification process, the contractor must inform the Contracting Officer and establish an SCLS matrix identifying the GSA labor category titles, the occupational code, SCLS labor category titles and the applicable WD number.
