Scope of Services SINs Documentation
Following is a scope of work description for each Schedule Special Item Number (SIN) for which POWER is approved and has posted schedule rates under our GSA Federal Supply Service (FSS) Environmental Services Contract Schedule 899.
899-1: Environmental Planning Services and Documentation:
Operational services, advice, or guidance in support of agencies’ environmental planning. Services include, but are not limited to, Environmental Assessments and Environmental Impact Statements under NEPA; Endangered Species, Wetlands, Watersheds, and other Natural Resource Management studies and plans; and other environmentally related studies and/or consultations.
899-3: Environmental Occupational Training Services: Training to include standard (off-the- shelf), customized, and/or computer-based interactive courses, as well as converting existing courses to electronic media. Training may be conducted on-site or off-site and may be on any number of environmentally related issues, including fire preparedness training and public fire safety education.
899-7: Geographic Information Systems (GIS): Operational services, advice, or guidance in support of agencies’ environmental programs utilizing GIS. Examples include, but are not limited to, mapping and cartography; site selection and planning; and provide services to support Geologic Logs, Topographic Data, 3D/4D Interactive Visualization Packages and Data Interpretation.
899-8: Remediation Services:
Remediation Services include, but are not limited to, remediation planning and preparation; agency negotiation; site characterization; investigation; remedial action; and implementation. Remedial actions include, but are not limited to, containment, removal, treatment (in-situ, ex- site, on-site, and off-site), storage, transportation, and/or disposal.

The following labor rates apply to all SINs and are effective September 25, 2011 through September 24, 2012. Rates will be updated each September 25. The rates include the Industrial Funding Fee of 0.75%.
