Professional Services Schedule is a worldwide Federal Supply Schedule contract issued by the General Services Administration. MAS is a Multiple Award Indefinite Quantity contract available to any agency of the U.S. Government and a streamlined, cost-effective method of acquiring high-quality engineering services.

About A² Systems Engineering

A² Systems Engineering, Incorporated, located in Southern California, is a veteran-owned small business providing aerospace systems engineering and integration services to the Department of Defense and Intelligence Community government organizations and their contractors. Specifically, we provide expertise in defining, acquiring, developing, integrating, and operating the nation’s intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance space systems. Most of our work is, and will continue to be, conducted at the classified level, including Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information. The full range of systems engineering and integration services that we provide includes the following:

· Mission engineering: Understanding end-user needs; identifying mission shortfalls; translating needs and shortfalls into mission requirements; conducting mission utility analyses of evolving system concepts.

· System concept definition: Defining space and ground architecture solutions based on mission engineering products; identifying available technologies for application; identifying technology needs.

· Requirements analysis/definition: Defining system requirements; allocating systems requirements to segments; performing requirements trades; defining and managing interface requirements.

· Systems analysis: Diagnosing, formulating and solving problems that may arise out of the interaction of systems and system elements/segments.

· Design assessment: Ensuring that the evolving development activities satisfy cost, schedule and technical requirements.

· System control: Managing system requirements; managing inter-segment interfaces; monitoring technical performance measures; managing risks and issues; tracking and controlling integrated system schedules.

· Implementation planning: Planning and executing system level test; participating in lower level tests; planning for transition to operations.

General Experience: Professional having 13+ years related experience with a Masters Degree in a related area or 15+ years experience with a Bachelors Degree in a related area.

Specialized Experience: Recognized expert in the management and execution of the workflow within an organization and the optimization of day-to-day activities. Areas that may require this expertise include, but are not limited to, the following:

Service Contract Labor Standards: The Service Contract Labor Standards (SCLS) is applicable to this contract as it applies to the entire Multiple Award Schedule and all services provided. While no specific labor categories have been identified as being subject to SCLS due to exemptions for professional employees (FAR 22.1101, 22.1102 and 29 CRF 541.300), this contract still maintains the provisions and protections for SCLS eligible labor categories. If and / or when the contractor adds SCLS labor categories / employees to the contract through the modification process, the contractor must inform the Contracting Officer and establish a SCLS matrix identifying the GSA labor category titles, the occupational code, SCLS labor category titles and the applicable WD number. Failure to do so may result in cancellation of the contract.
