Other direct costs of travel are reimbursed on a dollar for dollar cost basis consistent with prevailing JTR regulations.

**There is a one hundred dollar ($100.00) minimum per translation request. A twenty percent (%20) rush surcharge will be assessed on all requests, under five thousand (5000) words, that are required to be completed prior to the standard turnaround time of five (5) business days. Rush delivery charges for requests, over five thousand (5000) words, will be assessed on an individual scope based on volume.

***There is a two (2) hour minimum. Travel time and reimbursement for mileage, tolls, and parking additional. Rates and number of interpreters required for ASL Face to Face interpreting depend on the scope of the assignment. Please call for specific rates and requirements. Standard mileage rate reimbursed at the prevailing US government reimbursement rate. Other direct costs of travel are reimbursed on a dollar for dollar cost basis consistent with prevailing JTR regulations.

Identification of the lowest priced model number and lowest unit price for that model for each special item number awarded in the contract. This price is the Government price based on a unit of one, exclusive of any quantity/dollar volume, prompt payment, or any other concession affecting price. Those contracts that have unit prices based on the geographic location of the customer, should show the range of the lowest price, and cite the areas to which the prices apply.

Customer recognizes that telephonic interpretations and translations may not be entirely accurate, due to global cultural and linguistic diversity. Language Services Associates makes no representation, warranty or guarantee, express or implied, about language services 382-1, 382-2 or 382-5, including but not limited to accuracy, completeness or timeliness of any interpretations.

“The Service Contract Act (SCA) is applicable to this contract and it includes SCA applicable labor categories. The prices for the indicated SCA labor categories are based on the U.S. Department of Labor Wage Determination Number(s) identified in the matrix. The prices offered are based on the preponderance of where work is performed and should the contractor perform in an area with lower SCA rates, resulting in lower wages being paid, the task order prices will be discounted accordingly.”

30110 Foreign Language Translator

The Foreign Language Translator translates to English from a variety of language sources, including but not limited to print and audio. Complete knowledge of language must provide translator with a wide range of standard and non-standard terminology and an understanding of dialects and jargon. This worker must be able to comprehend slang and colloquial expressions in translating both technical and non-technical materials; must idiomatically translate repetitive material in specialized areas, including documents, reports, and general correspondence, in full or summary form, and provide supplemental research when necessary. Some interpreting will be required. This worker must ensure that the final translation communicates the accurate meaning of the original transcribed document and conform as closely as possible to the format of the source document. Translation must use accepted standard English grammar in attaining clarity and a faithful rendition of the original source's meaning. Translation requires treatment of conventional problems and situations using established translating practices and principles. This translator must possess the ability to make independent determinations concerning accuracy and thoroughness of the translation, and will often report to supervisory translator yet must be able to function independently.

30130 Interpreter (Sign Language) The Interpreter (Sign Language) interprets for deaf and hearing impaired persons, is skilled in interpreting rapid-fire conversations, provides translation between spoken and manual (sign language) communication, translates spoken material into sign language for understanding of deaf, and interprets sign language of deaf into oral or written language for hearing individuals or others not conversant in sign language. The Interpreter may translate television news and other broadcast for deaf viewers.
