The services include, but are not limited to: Planning and Documentation Services for the development, planning, facilitation, coordination, and documentation of and/or for environmental initiatives (or mandates such as Executive Order 13423) in areas of chemical, radiological, and/or hazardous materials; Wetland delineations; Environmental program and project management; Environmental regulation development; Technical and risk analysis; other environmentally related studies and/or consultations; compliance Services such as review, audit, and implementation/management of EMS and other compliance and contingency plans and performance measures; permitting; spill prevention/control and countermeasure plans; pollution

P a g e | 5 prevention surveys; Community Right to-Know Act reporting; advisory services for ongoing advice and assistance with data and information in support of agency environmental programs involving areas such as hazardous material spills; hazardous material reports; material safety data sheet updates; environmental regulations and environmental policy/procedure updates; waste management consulting services, feasibility studies and risk analyses; Resource Conservation and Recovery Act/Comprehensive Environmental Response Compensation and Liability Act (RCRA/CERCLA) site investigations; Hazardous and/or non-hazardous exposure assessments;

SIN 899-3 – Environmental/Occupational Training Services:

This SIN is designed to aid agencies in training personnel in a variety of environmentally related subjects in order to meet Federal mandates and Executive Orders. Environmentally related training can be conducted on- or off-site using standard off-the-shelf, customized, or computer/web-based interactive courses. Examples of environmental training courses include:

Air/blood borne pathogens; Asbestos awareness; Environmental management planning and operations and maintenance (O&M) planning; Asbestos Hazard Emergency Response Act (AHERA); Compliance with environmental laws/regulations; Comprehensive Environmental Response Compensation and Liability Act (CERCLA); Confined space training; Electronics management; Emergency response plans; Environmental audits, awareness, compliance, and management; Fire preparedness training; First responder; Hazardous materials and waste (HAZMAT) training to include compliance, operation, packaging, handling, generators, and incident response; Hazardous waste operations and emergency response (HAZWOPER) training inclusive of transportation, storage and disposal; ISO 14001 Environmental Management Systems (EMS); Lead training to include awareness, inspecting, assessing, rehabilitation, and renovation; Mold (abatement, assessment); Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA); Pollution prevention; Public fire safety education; Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA); Stormwater Pollution Prevention; Sustainable environmental practices;

Professional Engineer Manages technical design issues in their specialty conducting analysis, design, and project management.

Requires at least one current state license in their area of specialty and 5 years’ experience in the area of specialty. Requires

4 year science or engineering degree.

Professional Geologist Lead the investigation of geologic hazards and geologic constraints for the planning, design and construction of public and private engineering projects, forensic and post-mortem studies, and environmental impact analysis.

Requires at least one current state license in their area of specialty and 5 years’ experience in the area of specialty. Requires

4 year science or engineering degree.

Certified Industrial Hygienist Investigate health exposure risks and develop recommendations to reduce risks to route of entry. Develop processes and procedures to minimize health risks.

Clerical/Secretarial Assist staff in the office duties including typing reports, making copies, and assisting with travel plans for office staff.

Archaeologist Conducts scientific study of material remains of past human life and activities.

Principal activities include identification of the location, surveying, and mapping of sites and the excavation, classification, dating, and interpretation of materials to place them in historical context.

Requires 4 year science in archaeology with a minimum of 5 years field experience.

Landscape Architect Designs and plans landscapes to improve the ways in which people interact with the landscape, as well as with reducing the negative impacts that human use has upon sensitive landscapes. Responsibilities include urban design, community and regional planning, interior and exterior garden design, agricultural and rural land-use planning, parks and recreation, historic site and natural area preservation, landscape restoration and management, research and academic programs, energy and water conservation, and environmental planning.

Requires 4 year degree in area of study with a minimum of 5 years’ experience.

Land Survey Crew (2-personnel) A survey crew consisting of a licensed surveyor and assistant responsible to establish or reestablishing lengths and directions of boundary lines.

Crew Chief: Licensed as land surveyor with a 4 year degree and 4 years’ experience. Assistant shall have a minimum of an Associate Degree in
