POSITION SUMMARY:
The position is responsible for day to day Program management including: coordinating the preparation of proposals; ensuring planning, coordinating, integrating, monitoring, appraising and closing project activities are conducted properly; ensuring the maintenance of technical communications and business files; appraising impact of variances; recommending corrective actions; administering project changes; maintaining client liaison; and ensuring contract compliance.

Evaluates and analyzes decisions made on the technical aspects of a project to assure soundness and objectivity towards meeting the client's needs.

Responsible for implementing conceptual geographic information system (GIS) applications and solutions for project related problems. Research, summarize, and produce written documentation to support requirements analysis, feasibility studies, and applications development. Provide overall systems specifications for commercially available GISs and develop final digital conversion methodologies and implementation plans for automated mapping/facilities management (AM/FM) and GIS projects. Cost preparation, client interaction, scheduling, quality assurance, quality control, materials organization, and deliverable tracking. Occasionally functions as a task manager for a variety of GIS assignments.
