SAMPLE DESCRIPTION OF CAPABILITIES

STRATEGIC PLANNING

The measure of a successful company is having a plan for doing business and achieving measurable results from executing that plan. The most successful companies are those that have a plan, review their plan regularly, calibrate, and recalibrate their plan again, and again based upon market conditions, economic climate, political swings, and other pertinent data, i.e., competition, changing demographics, etc. The strategic plan is the tool that helps an organization evaluate yesterday's results, examine today's activities, and capture tomorrow's vision, goals, and expectations. The inclusion of key executives, directors, and managers in the planning process brings valuable perspectives to which the Chief Executive may not be privy, as well as buy in from those players who contribute to the development of the plan. The players who will be responsible for the implementation want to have a say in what they will be held accountable for bringing to fruition.

HEALTHCARE CONSULTING

Controlling escalating healthcare cost is this nation’s top agenda and the paradigm is shifting toward evidence-based, outcome-oriented, prospective approach to managing disease and patient population.

ITSC’s Healthcare Subject Matter Experts provide objective and independent advisory services to increase business efficiency and effectiveness. We perform a broad spectrum of marketing, education, analytical, evaluation, planning, and implementation consulting services. Our healthcare consulting experts will assist our clients in restructuring existing processes, developing improved operational capabilities (resources, process, and tools), recommending information systems strategies and technology solutions and providing the knowledge and tools to ensure our client’s business will meet and surpass the expectations of today's health care industry.

PERFORMANCE METRICS

Metrics are a system of quantifiable parameters that encompass two actors: 1) what to be measure; and 2) how and when to carry out such measurement. Metrics, when correctly defined, play a vital role in assessing the health of organization. Metrics can identify impotent events and trends in the organization and can help guide the organization toward informed decisions.

ITSC collaborates with our clients to customize the metrics, based on their vision, mission, and goals, to assess the resulting key indicators. We help define, collect, and use metrics throughout all phases and all facets of project lifecycle to assess the progress.

REQUIREMENTS ANALYSIS & MANAGEMENT

Requirements management is a process of identifying, determining, authenticating, and capturing requirements. Requirements Management is a linchpin in the systems development lifecycle.

The quality of the final product is highly dependent on the effectiveness of the requirements management process. Ill-defined requirement could lead to non-performing functions and non- compliant systems. Our job is to translate user needs into functional requirements that are clear and concise and able to quantify and qualify the results of what the system is to do. Upon completion of this task, ITSC will prepare a summary of requirements, a management plan, and an analysis report for the client’s review and approval.

BUSINESS PROCESS REENGINEERING

We take a pride in reinventing invention. Often, the best treasure is discovered by understanding how one behaves today. Our BPR methodology begins with reexamination of existing workflows and processes within and between organization to understand what works and what does not work, and mapping the current state to the "to be" state, and thereby, achieving significant level of improvement in quality, time, management and cost.

STUDIES AND ANALYSIS

Our technical approach to studies and analyses begins with a clear understanding of our customer's requirements. We frame the study design by sitting down with our customers and stakeholders, crystallizing the study objectives, issues, and scope. Once we understand the requirement, we outline study design and select the appropriate methodology that results in optimum study outcomes. We then use the well-defined study framework as a basis for conducting research, data collection, and analysis. We perform both qualitative and quantitative analyses. For example, performing a market research to identify the best requirements management tool for a given environment falls under the qualitative analysis. Determining a return on investment for a given business case falls under the quantitative analysis.
