14. WARRANTY PROVISIONS:
a. Products: Standard Commercial Warranty.
Unless otherwise agreed to in writing, Contractor warrants that Contractor’s Branded goods or services sold hereunder shall be free from defects in material or workmanship under normal use and service for a period of 12 months from date of shipment.
In the case of products sold hereunder which are not manufactured by Contractor, the warranty delivered to Contractor by vendor or manufacturer of such products shall be assigned to Buyer and shall be expressively in lieu of any other warranty by Contractor. No warranty extended by Contractor shall apply to any goods or services which have been modified or altered, by persons other than Contractor’s authorized personnel, or to goods or services that are defective due to misuse, neglect, improper installation or in any other way damaged, or to goods sold as used by Contractor.
All products sold by Contractor hereunder shall deemed acceptable by Buyer, unless within seven (7) calendar days from the delivery date, Buyer notifies Contractor in writing that such products are damaged, defective or cannot be made operational. Any claims for shortages must be made to Contractor in writing seven (7) calendar days from the delivery date.
b. Labor: Standard Commercial Warranty.
Unless otherwise agreed to in writing, Contractor warrants labor, for a period of no more than (90) calendar days from date of installation/signoff.

28. Return Policy:
a. American Dynamics Return Policy:
Merchandise will not be accepted for return or repair without an authorization number from American
Dynamics. To expedite merchandise returns for credit or repair, call Customer Service at 800-507-6268 or 561-912-6259 to request a Return Authorization (RA) number. Provide the mode, serial number and reason for the return or repair. All return merchandise must be shipped prepaid, insured and properly packed. The RA number must be referenced on all correspondence and must be visible on the exterior of the packing carton. No merchandise will be accepted without clearly visible RA identification
Returns for credit must be unused, undamaged, and in original factory carton. An exchange or return will be accepted within 30 days from the date of purchase without a restocking fee or within 60 days from the date of purchase with a 20% restocking fee. After 60 days from the date of purchase, returns will be accepted for repair but not for credit. A minimum fee of $75 will be charged upon evaluation of products sent in for repair which are determined to have no problems found
APPENDIX A – Labor rates and labor category descriptions.
SECURITY TECHNICIAN
Functional Responsibility: Installation, testing, servicing, of physical security systems in client facilities. Physical security systems include video surveillance, access control, and intrusion detection.
Skills include cable installation and termination, equipment installation, programming and configuration, testing, training, and systems maintenance.
Education/Experience Qualifications Electrical, network, computer, or electronic associates Degree or equivalent experience. Company and factory training on equipment and software comprising AES Systems’ physical security systems. Training on understanding of AES Systems’ standards of conduct, safety, performance as well as quality control program. Minimum of 2 years of relative experience.
SECURITY TECHNICIAN - AES FACILITY (Production)
Functional Responsibility: Assembly, testing, configuration of security and video systems and components for client delivery to clients. Skills include electronic assembly, wiring, cable terminations, mechanical assembly, programming and configuration, and testing.
Education/Experience Qualifications: Electrical, network, computer, or electronic associates Degree or equivalent experience. Company and factory training on equipment and software comprising AES Systems’ physical security systems and products. Training on understanding of AES Systems’ standards of conduct, safety, performance as well as quality control program. Minimum of 2 years of relative experience.
DESIGN SERVICES (System/Product Design Engineer) Functional Responsibility: Provide design services for physical security and process video systems and components. Skills include familiarity with company and industry products and solutions. Ability to evaluate customer needs and design a system or product to meet them.
Education/Experience Qualifications: Electrical, network, computer, or electronic bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. Ability to use software tools including MS office, computer aided design (CAD), as well as company and industry applications. Training on understanding of AES Systems’ standards of conduct, safety, performance as well as quality control program. Minimum of 2 years of relative
ENGINEERING SERVICES (System/Product Engineer) Functional Responsibility: Provide high level detailed engineering services for physical security and process video systems and components. Ability to create detailed electrical wiring diagrams, network diagrams, software documentation, configuration files, and manuals. Facilitate fabrication of company purpose-built products and services.
Education/Experience Qualifications: Electrical, network, computer, or electronic bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. Ability to use software tools including MS office, computer aided design (CAD), as well as company and industry applications.
