334290 Ancillary Services - Project Manager Bachelors 5 Supervises the successful execution of projects for clients including the development of project scope of work, technical documents, CAD drawings, materials procurement, project logistics, and management of Engineers, Field Engineers, and sub-contractors. Duties also include interfacing with other contractors working on related disciplines, if any. The project manager ensures that all aspects of the work comply with the requirements of the prime contract and interprets contract documents as well as related work documents from electrical, civil and building architecture disciplines.

Reviews all company design documents to ensure their completeness and ascertain opportunities for value engineering.

Schedules and attends meetings with clients, subcontractors and vendors for the purpose of coordinating the project and establishing project timelines.

Works in the field at the direction of the Project Manager as a commissioning and testing agent and certifies that systems conform to the prime contract as well as other relevant contract documents. Duties include the development and submission of sequences of operation, CAD drawings, and software flow charts in support of the software engineer. Works with engineers and contractors in other disciplines to develop a comprehensive understanding of the systems sequence of operations and the integration plan between sub- systems. Participates in the more difficult work. Trains and instructs subordinates on detailed procedures. Conducts periodic inspections and gives on-site supervision over hazardous or unusual work assignments; assures availability of equipment, materials, and supplies. Estimates the time and material costs required for projected jobs; keeps cost and job records and submits reports; initiates requisitions for supplies, tools, and equipment. Enforces safety regulations, rules, and working conditions. Recruits and trains personnel in the safe operation of equipment and tools.

Provides material take- offs for electrical facilities equipment requirements for installation.

Coordinates or prepares shipment of materials and supplies for electrical construction to the job sites. Installs system components and wiring in compliance with the NEC, NESC, NFPA and the UFC.
