RFP # GS-04P-14-EW-A-0035

Greenville Pitt County Airport Greenville, NC

Q1) Will parking be provided by airport authority?

A1) No, the contractor is responsible for employee parking.

Q2) What is uniform requirement?

A2) Smock, apron, or a LOGO shirt with company name would all be appropriate

Q3) Where will trash/ recycles go after they leave the space?

A3) Contractor will need to contact airport authority to find out where dumpsters are located

Q4) Security Requirement: The fee for this security clearance and associated budgeting is the sole responsibility of the Contractor. What is the cost of this fee?

A4) It is my understanding that there are no associated fees.

Q5) Mandatory Cleaning Time Frame: TSA 2nd Floor between 11:00 am - 1:00 pm. Normal working hours of building occupants are 900 am thru 6:00 pm. Are hours outside of this window deemed overtime hours?

A5) Cleaning must occur between 11:00 am and 1:00 pm. There are no provisions to order overtime.

Q6) A supervisor or designee shall be available and onsite at all times when the contract work is in progress. The Wage Determination included with the RSP under Administration Support and Clerical Occupations does not show a related occupational category for Supervisor. Related choices are Administrative Assistant---19.33. . . . . .Supply Technician----19.33. Or is there a different occupational choice for this Supervisor position?

A6) The Supervisor position is considered a management position and is not classified by the Department of Labor.

Q7) The Contractor shall furnish all supervision, labor, materials and equipment necessary to accomplish the surveillance, trapping, and pesticide application components of the IPM program. Is there a separate breakout for the IPM pricing on the Schedule of supplies/services?

A7) No Q8) Is there a separate breakout for the Recycling Program costing for this locale on the Schedule of supplies/services?

A8) There is no recycling program at the location.

Q9) What is the total contract value or past contract value?

A9) The previous contract was only in place for 18 months at a cost of $901.00/month. There has never been a 5 year contract in place at this location.

Q10) Is there an incumbent, and if so who?

A10) A and B Cleaning Service Inc.

Q11) How many FTE’s are expected?

A11) Only one (1) person is needed Q12) To verify, are the expected hours of operation 7 days a week 9am-6pm?

A12) The mandatory cleaning timeframe is 11:00 am – 1:00 pm Q13) Is the cost of the required background screening and processing the responsibility of bidder?

A13) Yes Q14A) The Contractor shall furnish the COR with a list of telephone numbers where an authorized representative may be contacted seven (7) days per week at any hour of the day or night to provide required services. What are these services that they would be requesting? Also, how often are these services, being requested over 365 day work schedule?

Q14B) The contractor is expected to have personnel available 7 days a week, day or night for 24 hour on-call service at this location? Normal mininium request times are between 3 to 4 hours on service calls from home of record to service location. Is this the normal duration for these type of service calls GSA is asking for under this contract? Lastly, personnel who are on 24 hour call typically receive 6-8 per week for their time availability. Is this the extent of hours that GSA is asking for under its 24 hour on call service in this contract?

A14A-B) The contractor will only be contacted, if needed, during normal working hours of building occupants.
