PART B
Q1. Ms. Moore – Please provide clarification regarding the following item for the referenced solicitation:
Spec. 011000 – 1.2.G identifies preparation and repainting of an existing flagpole as
“Alternate Work”. Please advise if the Solicitation, Offer, and Award Form 1442 will be amended to include a bid item for this Alternate Bid Item.
A1. See Part A above.
Q2. What is the Ground water level?
A2. (From A/E) This data was not included in the specifications as the work area is elevated and above the water levels and therefore did not have an impact on the construction. However the data is available if the Contractor(s) would like to submit an
RFI prior to construction.
Q3. Railing on the Canopy - if it would be cheaper to replace than refinish - can this be an option.
A3. This would be a viable solution that would assist all in lowering the costs.
