Translates complex technical, scientific, and behavioral health research constructs to support training and empowers literacy for the end-user. Interpret complex information to communicate health and behavioral health information into clear visual images that are accurate and engaging. Reviews, recommends, enhances, and creates charts, graphs, maps, diagrams, text, and illustrations so as to make their meaning clear and readily understandable to the mental health community. Takes information and organizes, formats and produces it in a variety of media so that it is communicated effectively. Coordinates with training and social services stakeholders to define illustrative concepts, guidelines or esthetics; selecting style and size of type; developing sample layouts including print charts, illustrations and other artwork; conferring with stakeholders to refine layouts and designs; suggest improvements and make any necessary changes; determine print requirements; and coordinate printing. Functional Responsibilities: Assists the mental health team by selecting appropriate networks for learning, and identifying the most effective treatments given a patient’s specific medical profile. This includes helping them eliminate duplication between different trials;

and creating and managing the current network for sharing research data. Evaluates and recommends mental health systems for the collection of timely, accurate and detailed clinical information to allow for the evaluation of mental health care delivery and assessment; and the reporting of critical findings to public health officials, clinical trials and other research and feedback to clinicians. Develops online surveys, including translating psychometrically reliable and valid questionnaires into online measures for the end-user. Medical Psychologist

Functional Responsibilities: Uses behavioral science-based procedures as a solution to both mental and physical health issues.

May work with physicians to create treatment plans that promote both physical and mental health; and treat severe disorders, such as depression or schizophrenia. Mental conditions such as stress, anxiety and depression can significantly diminish the immune system, leaving patients vulnerable to communicable diseases.
