A delivery order that exceeds the maximum order may be placed under the Schedule contract in accordance with FAR 8.404.

Planet Depos, LLC may perform work at any of the locations l isted in the SCA Wage Index Matrix. Service in an area with lower SCA rates than the stated preponderance of work location, resulting in lower wages being paid, will have the prices for that Task Order discounted accordingly.

Service Contract Act: The Service Contract Act (SCA) is applicable to this contract as it applies to the entire TAPS Schedule and all services provided. This contract maintains the provisions and protections for all SCA eligible labor categories.

Labor Category Descriptions

Court Reporter Functional Responsibilities: Attends events that require written transcripts, Reviews notes for names of speakers and technical terminology, Prepares transcripts for the record, Edits transcripts for typographical errors, Provides copies of transcripts and recordings to the courts, counsels, and parties involved.

May also create word-for-word transcripts of speeches, conversations, legal proceedings, meetings, and other events. Plays a critical role in legal proceedings and other meetings where it is important to have a record of exactly what was said. Responsible for producing a complete, accurate, and secure legal record. May be required to work in courts also help judges and trial attorneys by organizing the official record and searching for information in it. May specialize in a specific method of recording, such as using stenotype machines.

Minimum Education: Graduate from an accredited court reporting school which requires you to stroke at 225 WPM.

Minimum Experience/Certifications: Each reporter is pre-screened and qualified by one or more members of the executive team. Reporter credentials are validated and references regarding their work product are diligently verified. Notaries and certifications are ensured as jurisdictionally required.

Reporters hold state and national licenses including CSR, RPR, RMR, RDR, CLR, CRR and CMRS.

Videographer Functional Responsibilities: Films or videotapes speeches, conversations, legal proceedings, meetings, and other events. All videographers use high-definition cameras, a professional audio mixer, individual Lavalier microphones, a neutral backdrop and a professional tripod. Additionally, a simultaneous video and audio backup is recorded on a DVD player. Arrives one hour before the scheduled start time to allow for setup and proper placement of the camera, backdrop, microphones and other equipment.

Trained and experienced in use of digital equipment with Lavalier microphones, as well as a table microphones.

Minimum Education: High school or GED

Minimum Experience/Certifications: One year experience
