CORPORATE OVERVIEW

Based on the customer’s training needs, Summit Exercises and Training (SummitET)’s government services cover a broad range of security and preparedness training topics; with special emphasis on exercises – both discussion- and operations-based – as they apply to plans, policies, and procedures; and identification of resource and training gaps.

SummitET offers a wide variety of exercise and training services for Federal agencies, State, local and tribal authorities both domestically and abroad. SummitET offers business consulting solutions to include a full range of performance-based, mission-specific, management and consulting services for federal agencies.

SummitET’s customer-specific approach allows our clients to test their plans, policies, and procedures by informally “walking through” an emergency incident in a controlled training environment. This affords government personnel the ability to train to and exercise their specific plans and procedures and identify and address areas for improvement prior to real-world incidents. Additionally, SummitET provides consulting, facilitation, quality assurance, analysis, strategy formulation, advisory and program support.

Our support, subject matter expertise, training and exercise areas include, but are not limited to:

• Natural and other disasters o Floods, hurricanes, tornados, snow/ice storms o Electrical grid disruptions o Major oil/gas disruptions o Major transportation disruptions o Biological incidents, outbreaks, epidemics/pandemics

• Human-caused disasters o High explosives o Radiological dispersal devices (“dirty bombs”) o Radiological exposure devices o Chemical/biological attacks o Nuclear reactor emergencies/attacks o Active shooter o Hostage barricade o Cyber attacks o Civil unrest o Mass-casualty incidents

Past and present government clients and participants include: US Department of Energy/National Nuclear Security Administration, Federal Bureau of Investigation, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), US Department of Homeland Security, Nuclear Regulatory Commission, Pacific Northwest National Laboratory, Oak Ridge National Laboratory, Sandia National Laboratory, local and State agencies across the US, and numerous foreign government agencies and organizations.
