0040217832 – synopsis text Fixed-wing aeromagnetic survey near Centralia, WA The Department of Interior, U.S. Geological Survey, has a requirement for a fixed-wing aeromagnetic survey near Centralia, WA. The order of magnitude of the survey area is 6,352 line miles with an additional not-to-exceed 7,983 add-on, optional line miles depending on pricing and available funding. If all line miles are awarded, the total survey area will be 14,335 line miles. The total period of performance will be not-to-exceed 165 calendar days from award, inclusive of flight time and data processing time.
The USGS intends to award a single firm-fixed-price contract utilizing the procedures at Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12 (Acquisition of Commercial Items) and Subpart 13.5 (Test Program for Certain Commercial Items).
The solicitation, including detailed specifications and source selection criteria, will be available no sooner than the week of 06 July 2015. A formal solicitation is not available for release at this time.
The applicable Product/Service Code (PSC) is T099, entitled “Other Photographic, Mapping, Printing, and Publication Services.” The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 541360, entitled “Geophysical Surveying and Mapping Services,” with corresponding index entry “Aerial Geophysical Surveying Services.” The associated small business size standard is $15.0M in average (three year moving average) annual revenue. This immediate acquisition is unrestricted (full and open competition) and there is no incumbent contractor.
