Text1: GTIMS is a program of record (AETC) and is utilized at both Holloman AFB and March AFB MQ-9 FTUs. The system is utilized for scheduling and student training records. The current solution for student gradebooks is paper which requires scanning electronically at the EOC. This enables fully electronic records and eliminates the use of hard-copy gradebooks.
Text2: Hardware required to locally host GTIMS database and applications. . David Jones AETC GTIMS Product Support Manager Data Systems Analysts, Inc directs that Equipment MUST be purchased IAW PMO specifications as the only tested/approved config (attached excel)
Text3: GTIMS is a program of record (AETC) and is utilized at both Hollomen AFB and March AFB FTUs. AETC is funding GTIMS software, sustainment, and support for Hancock FTU, but this funding is limited to a virtual connection to off-site servers. Off-site servers for March AFB have shown poor reliability and speed; this is unacceptable for an FTU essential service. This software replaces PEX which runs locally on FTU servers. This purchase of server hardware allows GTIMS to be reliably hosted locally with faster connectivity for vital scheduling and training functions.
Text4: N/A. This is an AETC program of record utilized at other FTUs. (similar to AFTR and other training record systems)

Text7: AETC is funding G/TIMS for Syracuse only as a virtual connection solution. In consultation with AETC, March FTU, and G/TIMS PMO, this virtual connection has proven slow and unreliable, but local server hardware solves this problem. G/TIMS will replace PEX for mission essential scheduling and training management functions, and PEX is hosted locally for reliability and speed. A lost virtual connection to G/TIMS will halt the mission -- hardware to locally host G/TIMS is a worthwhile 1-time investment to insure uninterrupted FTU administration.

Equipment must be purchased IAW Program Management Office specification as this is the only equipment tested and proven to support G/TIMS.
