Specification Document Project: Potash (KCl; 0-0-60) and MicroEssentials SZ (Mesz10; 12-40-0 10S 1Zn) fertilizer for fall fertilization needs at the USDFRC’s Prairie du Sac research farm.
GENERAL INFORMATION
1.0 Scope of Work: The Prairie du Sac farm requires potash and micronutrients for approximately 400 wheat and cover crop acres in the fall of the year.
2.0 Background: Wheat and winter annual grasses are produced for silage and feed grain to meet the feed needs of the research dairy herd.
CONTRACTOR REQUIREMENTS
3.0 Technical Requirements/Tasks:
Key Requirements:
· Must specialize or have a depth of experience in custom fertilizer mixing.
· Must be able to delivery within 24 hours of ordering.
· Include in quote: delivery charge and tonnage tax, if applicable.
4.0 Government Furnished: Government will provide access to farm for delivery.
5.0 Deliverables / Schedule:
Potash, Gypsum, Boron for application on alfalfa acres as described below
