SPECIFICATIONS

Digital Microscope FY23

1. Introduction: Scientists at the Crop Genetics Research Unit, Jamie Whitten Delta States Research Center use genetics, molecular biology, pathology, and physiology approaches to improve the yield, quality and resistance to pests and stresses of cotton and soybean. Cytological techniques can help accelerate the accomplishment of these goals. Inspection of plant cell materials under microscope is critical for the research. A powerful digital microscope (1,000x-6,000x) magnification with high image resolution) can allow us analyze chromosomes of cotton and karyotype cotton genome.
