Statement of Work

For Avotus Support Services

1. Background The Federal Energy Regulatory Commission’s (FERC), Chief Information Officer (CIO) has the responsibility to provide networking services to all FERC locations within the continental United States. The networking services includes LAN, LAN to WAN, wireless access, network access control, switching, routing, firewall, DMZ, VLAN, VPN, VoIP, video, and data center services. FERC is procuring maintenance for the Avotus software to support its Cisco Unity 12.x

2. Requirements The requirement is to purchase support for FERC’s Avotus professional services to maintain the current call accounting services at FERC. The Contractor shall provide maintenance support for the following services and quantities below.

Quality Control: All software products purchased from or developed for the FERC by a vendor or contractor must be certified by the provider to be free of malicious code. The purchase/work order for such software must contain verbiage to the effect that the provider will be held liable for any damage or loss of business as a direct result of malware or malicious code embedded within software licensed to or developed for the FERC under the authority of the purchase/work order.

Section 508 Compliance: The contractor will ensure compliance with Section 508 requirements identified by the Government.
