About this file
This is Addendum 1 to a solicitation issued by the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) for roof replacement at the North Central Region Office (NCRO) Building located in Lake City, Florida. The addendum addresses eleven questions and answers submitted by prospective bidders regarding project specifications and scope clarifications. Key technical clarifications include confirmation that the existing roof system comprises plywood sheathing over wood trusses with synthetic/felt underlayment and architectural shingles; specification of aluminum eave drip flashing at .032 gauge, painted; installation of ridge vent; replacement of the existing attic fan and ventilation vents with the most similar models available; and confirmation that gutters, downspouts, existing curbs, and fascia flashing will remain in place. The project scope is limited to Building "A" (the main building) only, with Building "C" shed excluded from the replacement. The FWC will be responsible for removal and reinstallation of the satellite dish. No special shingle manufacturer warranty is required.
