STATEMENT OF WORK (SOW)

FOR CONSTRUCTION

FTFA 03-1231, Replace HVAC Bldg 129

22 April 2015

1. STATEMENT OF WORK: In general, the work will consist of HVAC system replacement in Bldg 129, associated electrical work and incidental related work, as indicated on the contract documents.

The Contractor shall furnish all parts, labor, tools, materials, plant, and transportation necessary to perform work required in this contract. Work shall be performed in accordance with the requirements and regulations set forth in the plans, specifications, and the contract documents.

Provide (1) hard copy set, and one (1) Mylar set of As-Built drawings upon completion of the construction of the project. As-builts are also to be provided in .pdf format and .dwg format (AutoCAD). Electronic Design Deliverables are to comply with UFC 1-300-10, Electronic Design Deliverables (EDD) Manual of Policies and Procedures.

2. LOCATION: The work is located at Eglin Air Force Base, FL, Bldg 129. The exact location will be indicated to you by the Contracting Officer.

3. SITE INSPECTION: Prospective bidders are expected to visit the areas of work and verify all conditions and dimensions.

4. SUBMITTALS: To be discussed at the preconstruction meeting include, but may not be limited to: Project Schedule, Shop Drawings, Material Submittals, Work permits, Utility Outage Requests, Utility Connection Requests, Welding Permits, and Burning Permits.

Refer to the Project Specification, Section 01 11 00, for Submittal, On-site Permit, Utility outage & connection requests.

-The contractor is responsible for marking and verifying all utilities not marked.

5. CONFLICTS: In case of conflict between different Air Force standards or other any information herein this document, the more stringent requirement criteria and/or work-effort shall apply and take precedence.

6. COMPLETION DATE: The Period of Performance (POP) is 305 Calendar days (10 months) from the Notice to Proceed.
