FAR(48 CFR) 53.243

This amendment hereby restates the Statement of Work and machinery specifications:

STATMENT OF WORK

3200 x 3200 Panel Saw

The panel saw shall be configured for cutting up to 5" stacked panels or stick lumber

Length of Cut: 126" - Automatically adjusted from 0 to 126"

Max. Pusher Stroke: 126"

Depth of Cut:

5" - automatically adjustable. Maximum blade projection is 5.3".

Automatic saw blade protrusion shall calculate proper blade projection and set it to the optimal cutting height allowing an excellent cut finishes and prolonged blade life.

Main Saw Motor:

Powerful 25 HP, 460VAC, 3 PH, 4 Pole

3910 RPM

Main Blade:

18" diameter x 60 mm bore. Drive slots to prevent spinning of the blade and provide maximum power.

3910 Variable RPM. Blade RPM shall be adjusted on the fly by dial on front panel.

Digital ammeter must allow operator to monitor saw blade load and adjust RPM and feed rates to achieve optimal cutting efficiencies.

Scoring System: 3 HP independent scoring motor s to ensures plenty of power for chip free cutting even the toughest materials.

Electronic scoring adjustment which allows adjustments of left/right and up/down to be made right at the PC.

7" diameter, 45mm bore, 5100 RPM.

Saw Carriage Speed:

0 to 4800 "/min variable by AC drive using precision rack and pinion. Return stroke fixed high speed (4800 "/min) and is encoded to minimize stroke and cycle time.

Pusher Fence Speed:

200" to 3200 "/min via AC closed loop servo and precision rack and pinion drive.

MaterialIndexing/Grippers:

9 Gripper pusher fence to allow automatic loading of heavy plate or stacked plates onto the rear table for processing. Grippers to allow faster cycling speeds to hold the material firmly for both cutting and indexing.

Closed loop AC servo system features precision ground rack & pinion, AC servo resolver and magnetic scale for precision cutting and accurate positioning

Material Hold-Down:

Full length pneumatic pressure beam using a "slotted beam" design to allow pusher positioning close to the cut line without having to retract greatly improving cycle times.

Pressure beam "holding" pressure is fully adjustable.

Both beams have a sponge rubber mounted on the bottom side as to not damage materials

Dual Material Side Aligners:

Encoded DUAL side aligner; fully automatic 60" + Stroke to minimize stroke and cycle times as it automatically positions to the width of the material being cut before it is activated

The dual side aligners shall work independently and apply side pressure to material on both the back side and front side of the saw blade to ensure perfectly square cuts

Main Body:

The machine body shall employs a structure to prevent distortion

Guide rails are made of bearing steel. After a high frequency treatment, the guide rails shall undergo two precision grindings and chrome platings to ensure long term wear resistance

Air floatation on the main body tops to help minimize scratching of material

Rear Table:

Heavy-duty welded table frames and a solid covering the entire back table. Roller wheels to assist in loading heavy plates or material stacks. The solid back table shall allow for the cutting of small parts and thin strips

Front Tables:

One fixed and two moveable support tables - all with independent 3HP air floatation blowers and phenolic tabletop surfaces. All table surfaces shall have rounds edge profiles to minimize material markings

The four moveable tables shall be easily positioned by unlocking them from the main body and sliding them to desired position. Tables shall slide left/right on a linear way system to allow effortless movement 1st Table with side fence is ___' wide x ____' long.

2nd and 3rd shall be moveable support tables and are __' wide x __' long

PC Controller:

Imbedded Industrial PC (IPC) controller running Windows 7, LAN interface, CD ROM, Solid Sate hard drive storage and High Speed USB-II ports PC configuration shall be protected from changes or modifications in the event the system becomes unstable.

It shall also contain a simple reboot to automatically correct any problems

___" full color flat screen with animated cut pattern graphics.

On-board Material Optimization Software to optimize material waste.

On-board diagnostics showing the status of all machine I/O devices to minimize down time. Diagnostics also provide "how to" solutions that point to problems and provide corrective actions.

Ammeter on front panel to monitor saw blade load.

LAN port shall allow remote access for technical support

Regulators:

Front mounted individual pressure regulators to allow for quick adjustments of individual devices such as grippers, pressure beam and material side aligners

Blade Change:

Easy blade change to rapid tool change

Safety Features:

"Safety light curtains across the front of the machine to prevent intrusion of the cutting area.
"Safety cages around back perimeter of machine to prevent intrusion of the moving pusher.
"Front and rear Emergency Stop pull cables, safety bar mounted on the front of the pressure beam and Emergency Stop switches located in operational areas.
"Saw blade cover shall have an interlock system that will not allow access to the blade while it is running.
"Piano-Key style safety shields with rotary movement.
"Emergency Stop safety relay to allow for monitoring of all emergency stop devices.
"Saw blade rotation sensor that will not allow release of door interlocks while saw blade is rotating

Power Requirements: 460 Volt, 3 Phase, 60 Hz (optional 230 VAC).

Dust Collection Connections: Four (4) 6" outlets for maximum airflow.

Set up Blade Spare Parts Kit

All proposals shall include installation, delivery and Training of staff and inmates

As part of proposal please provide any aspects of installation that are not included in your installation price

As part of your proposal please provide any pre installation requirement and guidelines that are required.

Please provide pricing for off loading/forklift or crane positioning to locate machine to factory floor.

Except as provided herein, all other terms and conditions remain unchanged.
