PART 2 - SUPPLIES OR SERVICE/PRICING and BACKGROUND

The FDA Pacific Regional Laboratory Southwest (PRL-SW) located in Irvine, CA, is an ISO 17025 accredited multi-purpose laboratory involved in the analysis of FDA regulated products and other scientific activities in support of the agency’s public health mission. This work requires use of state-of-the-art scientific tools and modern analytical techniques whenever possible. PRL-SW currently uses a Gerstel Multipurpose PrepStation with a single rail as an autosampler connected to a liquid chromatograph-mass spectrometric instrument for pesticide residue analysis. To enhance the capabilities of this system, PRL-SW has a requirement to add a second rail mechanism and dispersive solid phase extraction functionality. This will automate numerous liquid handling processes resulting in increased analytical efficiency and performance. The option year warranty will begin after the one year manufacture warranty has expired.
