STATEMENT OF WORK
Dormitory Key Control System Building 20222
Part 1
General Information
The contractor shall furnish parts, material, labor, equipment and supervision necessary to install a Dormitory Key Control System in building 20222 (800 keys) for 377th Mission Support Group (377 MSG) Facility, at Kirtland Air Force Base, New Mexico. Contractor shall meet all requirements discussed in this Statement of Work.
1.1 General: This is to purchase and install a Dormitory Key Control System.
1.2 Background: Contractor will install and train Dormitory personnel on the newly installed Dormitory Key Control System in building 20222. Contractor will work closely with Dorm Management each day.
1.3 Objectives: Install Dormitory Key Control System in building 20222. To include, one-year software support, 24/day, 365/yr phone support, and one-year hardware support, repair by replacement.
1.4 Scope: The contractor shall furnish parts, material, labor, equipment and supervision necessary to install a Key Control System to include, software package (if applicable) and all updates to that software. Contractor shall anticipate coordination with the Dorm Management.
1.5 Period of Performance Installation: Estimated completion time for installation 120 days after receipt of award.
1.6 Warranty: The Contractor shall provide a one year written warranty to cover software and hardware support.
The Contractor shall correct any deficiencies and damages caused by the Installation Contractor at the installer’s own expense. All work shall be inspected and accepted by Mr. Michael Gonzales 505-659-8866. The work area shall be inspected for proper operation.
1.7 General Information:
1.7.1 Place of Performance: The work is to be performed at building 20222 at Kirtland Air Force Base, NM.
1.7.2 Type of Contract: Firm-Fixed Price.
1.7.3 Hours of Operation: The contractor is responsible for conducting business between the hours of 0800-1600 Monday through Friday, except federal holidays or when the government facility is closed due to local or national emergencies, administrative closings, or similar government directed facility closings. The contractor must at all times maintain an adequate workforce for the uninterrupted performance of all tasks detailed within this Statement of Work when the government facility is not closed for the above reasons.
1.7.4 Base Access: All commercial trucks must enter through the contractor’s gate located just before the intersection of Gibson and Carlisle. In accordance with Kirtland Air Force Base, base entry procedures must adhere to delivery vehicle process requirements mandated by Kirtland Air Force Base. Supplier shall coordinate with by Mr. Michael Gonzales 505-659-8866 and Base Security to gain permissions to access the base. Gate hours of operation are 0600-1800. Once at the gate, the driver must be able to show:
• Current vehicle registration
• Current proof of Insurance
• A valid and current driver’s license for the driver
• A valid and current driver’s license or other state identification for any passenger(s) in the vehicle.
• A Bill of Lading which includes the Air Force installation name, date of anticipated delivery, and specific destination information.

1.7.5 Recognized Holidays: The following holidays are recognized as Federal holidays and Government offices will not be open.

1.7.6 Post Award Conference: Reserved.

The Contractor shall provide a Contract Manager who shall be responsible for the performance of the work.
PART 2
DEFINITIONS & ACRONYMS
2.1 Definitions and Acronyms:
2.2 Definitions:
2.2.1 Contractor: A supplier or vendor awarded a contract to provide specific supplies or service to the Government. The term used in this contract refers to the prime.
2.2.2 Contracting Officer (CO): A person with authority to enter into, administer, and or terminate contracts, and make related determinations and findings on behalf of the Government. Note: The only individual who can legally bind the Government.
2.2.3 Deliverable: Anything that can be physically delivered and / or installed per this Scope of Work, and associated attachments.
2.2.4 Quality Assurance (QA): Reserved.
2.2.5 Quality Control (QC): Reserved.
2.2.6 Subcontractor: Reserved.
2.2.7 Work Day: The number of hours per day the contractor provides services in accordance with the contract.
2.2.8 Work Week: Monday through Friday, unless specified otherwise.
2.2 Acronyms: These acronyms may or may not apply to this Scope of Work.

PART 3
GOVERNMENT FURNISHED PROPERTY, EQUIPMENT, AND SERVICES
3.1 Government Furnished Items and Services:
3.2 Services: Not applicable.
3.3 Facilities: The Government will provide the necessary workspace for the contractor to stage materials on site and/or within the facility.
3.4 Utilities: The Government will provide electricity, and water. The contractor shall instruct employees in utilities conservation practices. The contractor shall be responsible for operating under conditions that preclude the waste of utilities, which include turning off the water faucets or valves after use.
3.5 Equipment: Not applicable.
3.6 Materials: Not applicable.
PART 4
CONTRACTOR FURNISHED ITEMS AND SERVICES
4.1 Contractor Furnished Items and Responsibilities:
4.2 General: The contractor shall furnish all supplies, equipment, facilities and services required to perform work under this contract that are not listed in this Statement of Work.
4.3 Secret Facility Clearance: Not applicable.
4.4 Materials: The contractor shall furnish materials, supplies, and equipment necessary to meet the requirements under this Statement of Work.
4.5 Equipment: The contractor shall provide equipment necessary to meet the requirements under this Statement of Work. Equipment may be stored in basement of building 20222.
