F-35 Pylon Stands

Questions and Answers #2

FA9302-22-Q-0033

1. “In document ‘Request For Quote’ (iv) states “When the product is required, a delivery order will be awarded from this contract.”, and then in (vii) “30 days upon receipt of award.”. Can nomenclature please be cleared up, is the RFQ stating that a Delivery Order (DO) will be submitted to contractor for fabrication when a stand is required, and that delivery should be within 30-days upon receipt of DO? A single award is being made, but multiple Delivery Orders correct?”

• That is correct. This will be an ID/IQ contract with Delivery Orders each year for quantities of Pylon Storage Stands needed; not to exceed six (6) within the total three year contract. A single award will be made to a KTR and each year a delivery order will be submitted to the contractor.

The delivery is requested with 30 days ARO.

2. “The RFQ states that an award will be made for this contract, the USAF will require up to/no more than six(6) stands between award date and Year 2025, is that correct?”

• That is correct.

3. “Is this 6 Pylons Max for the entire three years or is this 6 pylons per release

• This requirement is for a maximum of six (6) F-35 Pylon Stands over 3 years. It is not six (6) stands per year/release.
