CHSHR FY17 REQUIREMENTS

STATEMENT OF WORK (SOW)

FOR

846TH TEST SQUADRON AT HOLLOMAN AFB, NEW MEXICO

1.0 BACKGROUND/INTRODUCTION

The Combined High-Speed/High Resolution (CHSHR) EO/IR Imaging Improvement and Modernization Program is a joint effort between the 704th Test Group (Holloman AFB), and the 96th Range Group (Eglin AFB). The intent of the program is to improve and modernize precision measurement and Time-Space-Position-Information (TSPI) capabilities. Optical instrumentation operated and maintained by the Eglin Test and Training Center (ETTC), and the Holloman High Speed Test Track (HHSTT) include fixed and tracking imaging systems in both film-based and electronic configurations. In the last few years the wet film has been fully replaced with digital video capability at the HHSTT. Optical instrumentation provides the means by which we track and visually capture the behavior of a static or dynamic test item for precision measurement and reduction of specific data essential to the test mission.
