Text version
Requirements; The Laser Tracker must effectively meet 846 Test Squadrons mission requirements and suspense’s in support of all survey data collection procedures.
1. Must be equipped with Power Lock feature which enables line of sight to be automatically re-established when interrupted with no user interaction while being in direct sunlight.
2. Must be equipped with real-time robotic guidance- this feature allows for the user to obstruct the laser by traveling behind an object in direct sunlight, while the tracker automatically predicts the directed path in which the user is headed without losing laser lock.
3. Tracker must shoot at distances of upwards to 80 meters while doing so in direct sunlight, while repeating within tolerances desired.
4. Tracker head must have the ability to turn an infinite 360 degrees consecutively with no stop point.
5. Laser Tracker must have built in Wi-Fi which enables quick connection, also providing remote control options.
6. Laser Tracker must have a weather station, integrated environmental unit which monitors conditions to include temperatures, pressure and humidity to compensate changes and ensure accurate measurements regardless of external factors.
7. Needs to have a High-resolution color camera that enables operators to remotely view field of vision, locating targets to measure to fixed reflectors for static hidden point devices.
8. Tracker must be able to orientate to gravity function which enables measuring with the Z-axis aligned to gravity.
9. Laser Tracker must be equipped with both ADM and Interferometer (IFM) – Single distancing unit combines the accuracy of an absolute distance meter and the speed of an interferometer to give readings quickly and accurately with no need for a home point.
10. Laser system must be equipped with the 1 kHz Data Output- Real time architecture with dynamic performance gives a measurement rate of up to 1000 points per second, enabling more detailed capture, making it more efficient.
11. Tracker must be IP54 rated ensuring that the instrument is dust/water proof while being able to operate in temperatures between 0-40 degrees C.
12. Must have an Angular accuracy of =/- 15um/m.
13. Must be capable of operating within a Vertical range of 145 degrees.
14. Battery set with two batteries, hard case, power supply unit, 2 battery cables and 2 stand fixtures.
15. Batteries must have a charge cycle that allows for 8 hour operational intervals.
16. Tripod requirements-Require carbon portable metrology tripod, tripod leveling kit and tripod transportation kit.
17. Require laser that does not require annual calibration by the manufacturer, must be able to be calibrated by users.
