ATTACHMENT 2
Statement of Work for Tunnel 9 Mach 14 Burst Diaphragms
2 October, 2015
Purpose: The purpose of the effort is to fabricate one hundred (100) C-103 Mach 14 burst diaphragms corresponding to drawing 77-1088-12 for the Arnold Engineering Development Complex (AEDC) Tunnel 9.
Scope: The fabricator shall manufacture one hundred (100) niobium alloy C- 103 burst diaphragms corresponding to drawing 77-1088-12. The fabricator shall supply a written material certification for the material used to fabricate the burst diaphragms which shall include chemical composition, yield strength, tensile strength and percent elongation. Prior to machining grooves shown in Drawing 77-1088-12, the fabricator shall provide the material certification to AEDC to allow AEDC to modify the remainder under the groove dimension to ensure proper diaphragm operation in the AEDC facility. The fabricator shall supply a 100% inspection report for each part.
The fabricator shall supply a certificate of compliance.
Period of Performance: The fabricator shall have 90 days after award date to fabricate and deliver the deliver the fabricated diaphragms.
