SUBJECT: FA9101-23-Q-B012, Synopsis of Proposed Contract Action for Propulsion Wind Tunnel
(PWT) Intercom Replacement for 16S, 16T, and Plenum Evacuation System (PES), Arnold AFB, TN
1. This is a synopsis of proposed contract action for commercial supplies prepared in accordance with the format in FAR 5.207.
2. The proposed contract action is for the Arnold Engineering Development Complex (AEDC) requirement for delivery, installation, training and check out of a red (classified)/black (unclassified) intercom system to replace the existing system in the PWT facility, including 16S, 16T and the PES.
Full performance requirements may be found in Attachment 1 – Draft PWT Intercom System SOW.
All items are to be delivered Free on Board (FOB) Destination to Arnold AFB, TN. Delivery, installation, training and checkout shall take place no later than 365 calendar days after date of contract (ADC).
3. The North American Industry Classification System code (NAICS) is 334290, Other
Communications Equipment Manufacturing, with the corresponding business size standard of 750 employees, and Product Service Code 5895, Miscellaneous Communications Equipment.
4. The Government plans to solicit and award one (1) sole source firm-fixed-priced (FFP) purchase order to Compunetix, Inc., 2420 Mosside Blvd., Monroeville, PA 15146. However, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency.
5. Questions and comments regarding this notice are due no later than 12:00 p.m. CST on 11 January
2023 and shall be submitted via email to the Contracting Officer, Haley Smith at haley.smith.10@us.af.mil.
