Request for Information Number: FA8656-23-R-A002

Notice Type: Sources Sought

Synopsis:

TITLE: Request for Information (RFI) for Eglin Wide Agile Acquisition Contract (EWAAC).

Date: 08 December 2022

1 This RFI is issued in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) clause

52.215-3 (Request for Information or Solicitation for Planning Purposes - Oct 1997) and is published to obtain information for use by the Air Force Lifecycle Management Center

(AFLCMC).

2 This RFI is NOT a Request for Proposal (RFP), Invitation for Bid (IFB), or an announcement of a solicitation; it is only intended for information or planning purposes.

There is no bid package or solicitation document associated with this announcement.

Response to this RFI is strictly voluntary and will not affect any potential offeror's ability to submit an offer if a solicitation is released. Any requests for a solicitation package will be disregarded. The government does not intend to award a contract based on this RFI or otherwise pay for the information solicited. No entitlement to payment of direct or indirect costs or charges by the government will arise as a result of preparing submissions in response to this RFI and the government's use of such information. Submittals will not be returned to the sender. Respondents to this RFI may be asked to provide additional information/details based on their initial submittals. The information requested will be used within the Air Force and may be disclosed outside of the agency. All information marked

PROPRIETARY will be safeguarded in accordance with applicable Government regulations.

3 The Armament Directorate (AFLCMC/EB) at Eglin AFB, FL is seeking the ability to: a) rapidly develop technologies of novel weapons capabilities, b) apply unique solutions and innovative ideas, and c) characterize new technologies and system concepts that provide evolutionary, revolutionary, and disruptive capabilities for the United States Air Force through weapons systems requirements development, studies, and demonstrations. The primary objective is to provide rapid response applicable to all areas and lifecycle phases of weapons development to include weapons concepts, concept development, concept demonstrations, weapons system procurement, production, fielding, operations, and sustainment to quickly meet current and future weapons system requirements. Customers include AFLCMC/EB divisions, SOCOM Det-1, Air Force Research Lab (AFRL), and the

Air Force Nuclear Warfare Center (AFNWC).

Information is sought to broaden the knowledge base of potential rapid response capabilities available as they apply to all areas and phases of weapons development to include weapons concepts, concept development, and concept demonstrations and weapons system procurement to quickly meet current and future weapons system requirements.

4 The scope of this contract will not include any aspects of Assistance and Advisory Support

(A&AS)

5 Estimated magnitude of the potential requirement is $46B over a 10-year period, with a primary NAICS 332993.

6 Security Information: Ranges from Confidential to Top Secret.

7 RFI Response Guide

No other documentation outside of this response guide will be reviewed.
