The following Brand Names were the chosen products for incorporation into the IT Weapon System and are required for this effort to rebuild the site in Arizona.
Asus: Asus is the only monitor that meets all requirements: VESA mountable, IPS panel, less than 22” diagonal, 1080p resolution and support for 2 digital/1 analog inputs.
Avcomm: Required to interface Clear-Com intercom device to provide split headset jacks.
Avocent: Avocent products are required because they include options for audio as well as data.
Identive: Identive is the sole USAF SIPR-approved card reader. No other card reader can be used.
IFS: IFS is part of the accreditation package and is installed at the existing sites and is an AFISRA approved product for audio transport.
MW Comm Solutions (FKA Big Sky Engineering): This OEM is driven by the need for Clear-Com equipment. This is a COTS item that interfaces directly with the Clear-Com I- Station panel.
Radio Design Labs: Radio Design Labs is part of the existing accreditation package and is currently part of the approved baseline. The equipment is currently installed at existing sites, performance of the breed device meets the performance specifications of the BDD and exceeds other manufacturers evaluated.
TrippLite: TrippLite rack mount KVM units meet our requirements by providing high definition screen, independent keyboard and monitor tray, and IP routable.
In summary, only the miscellaneous brand name hardware referenced supports and successfully meets the requirements of the RPA SOC program and the USAF.
9. Other Supporting Facts:
The IT system brand name hardware is a critical component of the RPA SOC and is part of the AFISRA accreditation package that is required at each SOC location to operate on the Air Force Network. With the criticality of these national security missions, negative impact and lapse in coverage cannot occur as significant, if not catastrophic, national security issues could arise, impeding the wellness of the United States and those areas and civilians in which it helps to protect.
