Quonset Point ANGS, Rhode Island Questions/Answers Set 2 6 April 21
Question 1: For the items that are to be installed on the upper level of the Existing Mezzanine there is access to allow for lifting the items via a Contractor provided fork truck to the second level rather than having to “stair carry” the items.
Response 1: The existing mezzanines have pallet gates that can be used for forklifting the items to the upper level.
Question 2: All areas where new equipment is to be installed will be free and clear of any existing materials prior to commencing installation of new equipment and the end user is responsible for removing or relocating any existing items.
Response 2: Correct – all areas will be clear. There is no equipment or assets currently located in the space.

Question: In Appendix B, 3.2.9 Elevated Flooring can we use ResinDek Flooring in place of the plywood and Endura. This material has been specified as Basis of Design for Elevated Flooring on FA860421RB004
Response: ReskinDek is an acceptable equivalent for the elevated flooring of the mobile aisle.
