Vendor Questions and Customer Answers – 05 July 2023

1. Is electrical installation also required and if so, how far away is the closest electrical disconnect?

Not Required.

2. Delivery Question: Delivery is door to dock and does not include offloading, please confirm who is responsible for offloading the machine, and moving it to its final resting spot? If the contractor is responsible for this please see below questions.

Gov responsible for offloading and placement.

3. Installation: Please detail what you mean by "installation" Who is responsible to start up of the machine prior to the onsite training? If start up is required, who is responsible for electrical drop and connection for machine so that the machine is plug in ready when delivered? Please confirm that electrical wiring is either already done or will be done by end user. Electrical work of any kind CANNOT be done by the mfg or the contractor, by law this must be done by a licensed electrician, which will have to be outsourced.

4. Please confirm if facility allows for packing material to be disposed of onsite at Wright-Patterson AFB.

5. Training:

How many people will need to be trained? None

Would you accept virtual training? N/A

Do you need to conduct test cuts at the time of the training? If so, please confirm that you will have your own material(s) on hand so that test cuts can be made. N/A

6. Please advise what credentials are needed to deliver and install the machine (forms of ID that the carrier/rigger will need to enter the facility)
