SYNOPSITATION FA8601-22-Q-0021
QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS
Question 1:
o Your Specifications: A 10X objective lens, long working distance, with field-of-view range: 100-1100 microns.
Our field-of-view range: horizontal 614 micron max / vertical 461 micron max o Your Specifications: A 50X objective lens, long working distance, with field-of-view range: 20-220 microns
Our field-of-view range: horizontal 123 micron max / vertical 92 micron max o Are these specifications acceptable?
ANSWER: The specifications are within the acceptable range.
Question 2: What Vickers and Knoop scales are required?
ANSWER: The requirements stated the system must be capable of 50 gf –
10kgf, so any Vickers/Knoop scales which cover this range of loads would be desired.
Question 3: The delivery lead time listed is 3 months/12weeks. Our current delivery lead time is 18 weeks. Is this acceptable?
ANSWER: Delivery lead times will be discussed after proposal receipt and during/after technical evaluation. Please submit your proposals in accordance with the statement of work and advise of any issues/concerns in your proposal.
Question 4: Is the quantity 3 Hardness Testers or 1 Hardness Tester? Quantity listed is 3 but the verbiage in the Statement of Work sounds like only 1 required.
ANSWER: There is a quantity of 3. Please see the CLIN description—it states “3 Each.”
