CX50 Upgrade Phase Array ProbeSTATEMENT OF WORK
21 Feb 2018
1. Introduction: The 88TH Medical Treatment Facility (MTF) located at Wright–Patterson AFB, OH requires two phased array probes for the PHILIPS CX50 ultrasound machine.
2. Background: The pulmonology clinic currently uses conventional monolithic probes which emit a beam in a fixed direction. They must be physically scanned (moved or turned) to sweep the beam through an area of interest. Pulmonary lacks the ability to treat patients with intra-thoracic abnormalities, those in shock and those who are critically ill otherwise without the capabilities of a phased array probe.

5. Minimum Requirements: 2 EA – FUS5120 – S5-1 Transducer To include the following:
· CX50 Upgrades for system serial numbers SG91500105 and SG91500093
· Size – Hand held devices
· Design – The probe models must be FUS5120 – S5-1 to fit the port connector of the ultrasound machine.
· Performance Requirements – The probes must create a wide image from a small window by sending out ultrasound waves in an area of interest through proper depth. The probe shall provide physicians adequate visualization of pleural space for definitive patient diagnostics and therapeutic prognosis.
· Accessories – N/A
· Configuration – No configuration is required.
· Installation & Testing – No installation & testing is required.
· Training – No training is required.
· Warranty – 90 day product warranty
