REQUIREMENTS DOCUMENT

IN SUPPORT OF

110 GHz Electrical Signal Analyzer

FOR AFRL/RYDR

WRIGHT-PATTERSON AFB, OH

26 Dec 2017

The United States Air Force Research Laboratory, Sensors Directorate requires a 110 GHz electrical signal analyzer in order to characterize systems and component RF performance out to 110 GHz.

Minimum Requirements:

At a minimum, the contractor will provide the following for each system:

1. The electrical signal analyzer will measure signals continuously from at least 100 Hz (lower frequency limit) to 110 GHz (upper frequency limit).

2. The Displayed Average Noise Level (DANL) of the analyzer must be less than -140 dBm at frequencies above 50 GHz.

3. The analyzer will have at least one RF input which has a 1.0 mm connector.

4. The analyzer must have a resolution bandwidth of at least 1 Hz and out to 4 MHz.

5. The system must have a single side band (SSB) phase noise less than -125 dBc/Hz at 10 kHz offset for a signal at 1 GHz.

6. The analyzer must be able to connect to an external computer through either USB, Ethernet or GPIB.

7. The analyzer must have an internal display and require no external mixers to cover the entire frequency range.

8. The analyzer must weigh no more than 100 lbs.

9. The analyzer must be no bigger than 19” wide x 22” long x 13” height.
