SOLICITATION FA860117T0150 – High Power RF Amplification System with External Harmonic Filter

QUESTIONS & ANSWERS

Q. Would the application take a split band unit for 2.0-4.0GHz and 4.0-8.0GHz?

A. Split band operation is permitted. However, the use of separate bands must not require moving either the output or input cable to different connection points.

Q. What harmonics are expected with the addition of a switched bank filter?

A. The external harmonic filter, consisting of a switched filter bank or individual low-pass filters, should reduce the harmonics to at least -18dBc across the frequency range of the amplifier.
