Nitrogen Membrane Generator Solicitation FA8601-17-T- 00073 Questions and Answers

1Q. 2.3 Membrane type nitrogen generator 2.3.1 Cabinet design: Please provide some additional detail for this cabinet design.

A. Cabinet design refers to the system being contained in an accessible enclosure (cabinet) with controls and gauges present on one of the faces

2Q. 2.5.1 Will the temperature actually get to -30 degrees?

" In order to accommodate this, two air compressors will be needed, which will significantly increase the cost". ( a contractors opinion)

A. 75 +/-30 means...Room temperature can be 45 deg. F to 105 deg. F but nominal room temperature is 75 deg. F.

3Q. Item no. 0001 supplies/services, there is a MFR PART NR: 6115-PO-023-392300. Who is the manufacture of this part?

A. Solicitation Error, information should not have been listed.

4Q. In the Statement of work section 2.4.3. Air quality: dry air (-40 deg. Fpdp). Is -40 deg. Accurate?

A. This temperature value (-40) is referring to the pressure dew point temperature which is why it is listed as an air quality requirement.
