Purchase Description

North Atlantic I/O Boards

1.0. DESCRIPTION: The Contractor shall provide to the 578th Software Maintenance

Group, Robins Air Force Base, (4) North Atlantic 64C2-K6K6K6K6K6K60AC10 discrete I/O board, two (2) 64C2-C1C1C1F1F1F10AC10 analog board, two (2) 64C2-

5J5J5J5J5J5G0AC10 LVDT board, two (2) 64CS4-W6Z01E1E1E1AC100, and four (4)

Rear Transition Modules 64RT2. The I/O boards will replace legacy I/O boards that are no longer supportable.

1.1. Minimum required specifications:

1.1.1. Discrete I/O – 16 Channel, 0-60 VDC input, 0-60 VDC output

1.1.2. Programmable for Input (voltage or contact sensing) or Output (current source, sink or push-pull) per channel/bank

1.1.3. Continuous Background BIT Testing (during normal operation, status provided for channel health and operation feedback)

1.1.4. Ability to sense broken input connection and if input is shorted to +V or to ground

1.1.5. Ability to read I/O voltage and output current for improved diagnostics

(indicates if load is connected)

1.1.6. Ability to current share, by connecting multiple outputs in parallel, to sink/source up to 2A per channel/bank

1.1.7. Ability to handle high inrush current loads (e.g. two #327 incandescent lamps in parallel)

1.1.8. Supports ‘dual turn-on” (series channel output) applications (e.g. dual series

‘key’ missile launch control)

1.1.9. Analog Digital (A/D) C1 Converter – 10 Channel

1.1.10. Input Scaling +/- 10VDC

1.1.11. Digital Analog (D/A) F1 Converter – 10 Channel

1.1.12. Output Range +/- 10 VDC

1.1.13. Linear Variable Differential Transformer – 47Hz – 10KHZ

1.1.14. Accuracy to within (+/-) .2% FS

1.1.15. Multiple functions on a single slot VME card

1.1.16. User can specify six different function modules

1.1.17. Automatic Background BIT testing - checks and reports the health of each channel

1.1.18. Control via either VME or Ethernet (10/100/1000Base-T)

1.1.19. Designed for both Commercial and MIL applications

1.1.20. Connections via Front panel

1.1.21. Conduction or Convection cooled versions

1.1.22. FIFO data buffering for A/D, D/A, S/D and LVDT functions

1.1.23. No damage if signals are applied when card is not powered

1.1.24. Available software support kit and drivers

1.2. Contractor shall provide 1 year warranty to begin upon delivery as stated in paragraph 2.0.

2.0 DELIVERY: Delivery shall be completed 120 days after contract award and the contractor shall provide delivery to the following address:
