SUPPLIES OR SERVICES AND PRICES/COSTS

This order requires a first article. Please see the attached First Article Requirements (AFMC IMT 260) for instructions regarding the first article (Bid A which includes CLINs 0001AA and 0001AB). Please note that certifications will be required with the submission of the first article (see block 12 of the AFMC IMT 260). If you cannot provide these certifications, please do not submit a quote.

If you feel that you are exempt from completing a first article, please see the note in section 11, tab f of the AFMC IMT 260 for the information you will need to submit for consideration of the first article exemption.

All respondents will have to submit a proposal for a first article (CLIN 0001AA, 0001AB, and 0001AC) as a First Article waiver may not be granted to those requesting one. If you are not requesting a First Article waiver, you do not propose to CLIN 0002 (Bid B). Prospective respondents requesting a First Article waiver will also propose to CLIN 0002 as well. This will be your proposal for the basic period if you are approved for a First Article waiver.

If you have to do a First Article, your proposal will be evaluated on CLIN 0001AA, 0001AB, 0001AC, and Quantity Options I-IV. Those receiving a First Article waiver will be evaluated on CLIN 0002, and Quantity Options 1-IV.

This Purchase order is to establish and fund either first article requirements and basic order quantity, or a basic order quantity. Four (4) quantity options will also be established. Please see the preamble of each Option for specifics.
