DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES

In support of 309th EMXG engineering flight, the contractor shall provide all management, tools, supplies, equipment, labor, and travel necessary to move equipment listed in Appendix B from building 1515 first floor north to building 100 bays M and J at Hill Air Force Base, Utah. This move will occur within 14 working days of the project start. The location and amount of equipment in the conceptual drawings provided below are subject to change due to Government and customer requirements. All equipment and storage items are situated in security level secret open storage. Any prime or sub-contractor participating in this evolution must be escorted by authorized government personnel at all times. Transfer of the user’s CM Library from Building 1515 to Building 100 must have an authorized escort at all times. Packaging materials must be provided by the contractor for approximately 450 assets (LRU’s, Antennas, etc.) prior to their relocation.

BASIC SERVICES

The contractor shall repair any equipment damaged due to negligence at their expense. The contractor shall be insured/bonded. The contractor shall ensure qualified and certified Electrical and Mechanical Technicians are available as required for any removal and/or installation of utilities for the equipment being relocated from Building 1515 First Floor North to Building 100 Bays M and J. The relocation of (106) NIPR and DEVNET Personal Workstations from Bld. 1515 to Bld. 100 Bay J is also anticipated. Electrical contractor technicians shallwill site verify all electrical devices, cabling and connectors prior to equipment turn over to Moving contractor. Any materials that can be reused in new equipment location shall be disconnected and reinstalled in Building 100 Bays M and J. Mechanical contractor technician shall will site verify all mechanical devices prior to equipment turn over to Moving contractor. New mechanical devices not already installed by ongoing remodel contract will be relocated from building 1515 and be installed in Building 100 Bays M and J. This is due to some devices and electrical cables and connectors are proprietary and will have to be moved with the test stands. Some plugs and disconnects will be installed by the construction contractor. Comment by PATTEN, JOSHUA S CIV USAF AFMC 309 SWEG/MXDSR-B: I changed from contractor to technician because the awardee might have expertise in-house. If not, they can sub out the work.

The contractor shall provide sufficient protection for existing and new flooring, door assemblies and wall surfaces during the relocation of equipment. The contractor shall be responsible for any repairs to said facilities.

The contractor shall provide pre-movement packing materials for those items requested by the user for relocation of said items from one location to the other.

New Location (Building 100 Bays M and J) At the new location, the contractor shall position all equipment items listed in Appendix B in the correct system configuration in accordance with Building 100 Bays M and J Para 2.3 and customer needs.

The installation shall include connecting devices to electrical panels, buss ducts, mechanical equipment and structure support necessary for proper operation. The contractor shall provide or relocate existing miscellaneous hardware and devices, as required, for the installation and customer needs.

The contractor shall provide sufficient protection (RAM board as a minimum) for existing and new flooring, door assemblies, and wall surfaces during the relocation of equipment. The contractor shall be responsible for any repairs to said facilities.

The contract installation shall comply with all applicable regulatory codes (i.e. NEC, UPC, UMC, UFC, ADA, etc.)

This notification requirement shall also include physiological mishaps/incidents. A written or email copy of ALL the mishap/incident notification shall be sent within three calendar days to the GR, who will forward it to OO-ALC/SE. For information not available at the time of initial notification, the contractor shall provide the remaining information no later than 20 calendar days after the mishap, unless extended by the ACO.
