PURCHASE DESCRIPTION

FOR

ProtoTyping 3D Printer

OO-ALC/ EN

1.0. DESCRIPTION OF REQUIREMENTS

Two small prototyping 3D printers that can print engineering grade thermoplastic materials including ABS-M30, TPU, PLA, and PC-ABS for the Ogden Air Logistics Complex (OO-ALC). This new printer must communicate with the software application Insighttm.

1.1. ACCESSORIES AND SPECIFICATIONS

The prototype printer must meet the following specifications and possess the following capabilities:

Minimum printer accuracy ±.002mm/mm Print ABS-M30, TPU, ASA, and PC-ABS and associated support materials Dual head extruders and heated build plate Heated chamber Print volume minimum 14 X 10 X 14 inches Have minimum of 2 bays for model material Operate with current build/slice software Insighttm

Quote must include 4 spools each of ABS-M30, TPU, ASA, PC-ABS and required Support material

1.2. CONTRACTUAL REQUIREMENTS

1.2.1. Delivery

The contractor shall deliver the equipment to the following address located at Hill Air Force Base:

1.2.2. Training and Installation:

The system must be installed by qualified factory trained service engineer(s) directly employed by the vendor. Basic operation and instrument service/maintenance training, for a minimum of 4 operators, must be provided by the installing engineer upon completion of installation.

All labor, food, travel and accommodation expenses for the service engineer(s) and applications specialist(s) shall be included in proposal.

1.2.3. Warranty

The contractor shall provide a minimum 1 year warranty which warrants all products provided under this contract, under normal use, free from defects in materials and workmanship and that system will perform its design function for a period of no less than one (1) year. Warranty period to start from date of final acceptance of each installed unit/system. Any defects in materials or workmanship or failure of any product or component to perform its designed function during the warranty period shall be fixed by the contactor at no additional cost to the government. Warranty shall include the cost(s) of, parts, shipping, labor and any travel related expenses.
