Description and Specifications for Explosive Proof Scissor Lift
The 709th Paint and Blast are in need of an Explosive Proof Scissor Lift that is designed for Class 1, Division 1, hazardous environments. It has been deemed unsafe by safety inspectors to be using the rolling ladders to work on missile trailers that are 16-20 feet tall for example. It needs to be a self-propelled, battery powered lift that doesn’t require an external air source.
Explosive Proof Scissor Lift Specifications:
Must be rated Class 1, Division 1 (approved and certified to be used inside paint spray booths)
Must be explosive proof, battery powered and self-propelled
Must have a working height of 25 feet
Must have a raised platform height of 19 feet
The platform size inside needs to be approximately 24 x 65
Weight capacity of at least 500 pounds
Needs the deck extensions to be 3 feet
Needs to have 4 x 6V 250 amp rechargeable batteries
Needs to have a 20 amp automatic SCR Charger
Needs to have 25% grade ability
Must come with operator and maintenance manuals
Training for at least 10 employees

CONTRACTUAL REQUIREMENTS
Delivery:
The contractor shall deliver the equipment to the following address located at Hill Air Force Base:

Warranty:
The contractor shall provide any OEM pass through warranty and standard commercial warranties applicable to the products being purchased at no cost. This shall apply to new, refurbished, and remanufactured equipment.
