Description and Specifications for Portable Magnetic Inspection Unit
The stationary Magnetic Inspection Unit’s will be used to inspect a wide variety of applications to reliably detect surface and near surface defects in both circular and longitudinal modes.
2 Each: Stationary Magnetic Inspection Unit’s 138” Footprint (with Hood) specifications:
10,000 amp Three (3) Phase Rectified to FWDC magnetizing current capability at contacts MOD 4 AC Magnetization / Demagnetization - Additional 4,000 Amp of AC Output (max output) Low Frequency reversing DC Demagnetization Duty cycle 0.5 seconds Reinforced Rail for heavier part load (4,000lbs. part capacity) 460 Volts, 60 hertz, 3 phase power Quick break feature on coil circuit Push bar design Current indicator for magnetic current output Digital Ammeter Independent Contact and Coil Current Controls Footswitch activated pneumatic headstock Minimum 80 PSI with 5 SCFM capability Adjustable tailstock with crank Stainless steel tank Minimum 32 Gallon Tank Fluid Capacity 220 Amps Peak Current 24”-25”" diameter coil in lieu of standard coil Configure Unit for maximum 100” (Long) Part Capacity Maximum Unit Footprint 138” Length Requires complete hood assembly
CONTRACTUAL REQUIREMENTS
Delivery:
The contractor shall deliver the equipment to the following address located at Hill Air Force Base:

Warranty:
The contractor shall provide any OEM pass through warranty and standard commercial warranties applicable to the products being purchased at no cost. This shall apply to new, refurbished, and remanufactured equipment.
