AIR FORCE RESPONSE TO COMMENTS/QUESTIONS FROM INDUSTRY

FA8224-15-R-ELECTRICAL

Last Updated: 1 July 2014

Below is a list of questions/comments the Air Force has received from industry regarding the Synopsis/Solicitation FA8224-15-R-Electrical posted on 27 April 2015, and the Air Force responses to said questions/comments. Air Force responses are based on the best information available at this time and are subject to change in the event the requirement is amended. Only the Solicitation and Solicitation Amendments, if issued, should be relied upon while preparing proposals.

1. Industry Question: Line item 23: Description calls for 3/8 x 1-1/4" but the part number is 3/8 x 2". Both lengths are available but which one is needed?

Air Force Response: 3/8 x 1-1/4 Grade 5 anodized is required.

2. Industry Question: Line item 87: The Hilti 3432181 comes in packs of 160 so the closest increment to the requested 1,230 is 8 boxes for a total of 1,280.

Air Force Response: packs of 160, total of 1,280 is acceptable.

3. Industry Question: Line item 91: Description has 2-0, is this 2/0? However, part number has a 3/0 in it so do you need 3/0 or 2/0?

Air Force Response: Split bolts 8 to 2/0 AWG Burndy KSU23.
