STATEMENT OF OBJECTIVES (SOO)/NEEDS

I. Statement of Objective/Needs: This program seeks to demonstrate available / common technologies in a Medium Class Stage III Motor that may be applicable to multiple future common strategic propulsion systems and potential application to a Family of Motors capability. This is a flight motor design that is intended to be a direct replacement for the SR73 and requirements will be based on existing specification S-133-06658(A), Pt. I, unless otherwise noted. Motor built for this effort will only require those capabilities required for static tests listed in I.E.1 & 2.

A. Performance Criteria: For proposal evaluation, provide a maximized ideal delta velocity (assuming zero g and zero drag) of no less than 13,500 feet per second to a mass of 1,450 lbm. (It is the intent to maximize the performance of the motor using the requirements of the current specifications (S-133-06658(A), Pt. I) for the MM III Stage III motor as the baseline.).

The Supplier shall provide a list of Government Furnished Property required to complete the efforts of this SOO.
