About this file

This document outlines packaging requirements and instructions for a federal contract solicitation. The solicitation seeks packaging services for the retrieval and exchange of spare parts. Contractors must follow special packaging instructions available on the SPIRES website and safeguard reusable shipping containers meeting AFMC Form 158 requirements, replacing any containers received in unserviceable condition. WebSDR must be used to report any issues with improperly packaged assets received or shipped without coded data or special packaging drawings. Exceptions require a waiver from the prime Air Force Sustainment Complex Packaging Office. Most recent revisions of DLMS 4000.25 and TO 00-85B-3 apply, and ASSIST should be used to access specifications and standards listed in the solicitation. The related opportunity is solicitation FA8213-20-R-3001 for ECRL services through the Department of the Air Force Materiel Command Lifecycle Management Center at Hill Air Force Base.
