Reference: 1) USAF email request dated 14 December 2021

2) Drawing for A10 Display Module P/N 10-37841-01 Rev B

3) NDA USAF/L3 ESS dated 14 March 2018.

Dear Chuck, Thank you for your referenced (1) request. Upon review L3 Technologies MAS Inc. (MAS) confirms that this part is no longer in production and MAS no longer has the capability to manufacture it. MAS acknowledges that USAF has a spares requirement for the subject backplane to support its operational capabilities.

Therefore MAS hereby grants to USAF a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable, temporary license for the right to use the A-10 CDU Backplane P/N 5998-01-496-7982 ( MAS P/N 10-47990) technical data for the sole purpose of allowing USAF to manufacture or have manufactured by a third party, the subject backplane. Under no circumstances shall such license be interpreted as granting USAF any other right beyond the right to use granted herein and the rights previously granted in the referenced (3) NDA. MAS is and remains the owner of any intellectual and proprietary rights pertaining to the documentation related thereto.

MAS has provided the reference (2) drawing to USAF in March 2022 without any guarantee or warranty of purpose.

MAS will not be providing any technical assistance or support for any subsequent manufacturing activities. USAF acknowledges that any manufacturing activities are at its sole risk and that MAS will not be liable for any damages arising from USAF’s use of or reliance on the drawing/documentation disclosed.

Please be advised that this item/technology contains information subject to US government export control in accordance with the Export Administration Regulations (EAR), 15 C,F,R, parts 730-744. Export of this data to any foreign country or disclosure of this data to any non-US person may be a violation of federal law.
