Solicitation No: FA8126-23-Q-0045

1. Question: Fiberplate is not a known brand name in the USA. Did you mean “Fibergrate”?

Government Response: Fibergrate is the brand name. Fiberplate is the name of the Part Number.

2. Question: The requirement is for molded square mesh grating, correct? Which thickness 1” or 1 ½”?

Government Response: 1 ½”

3. Question: What color grating?

Government Response: No Color Requirement.

4. Question: Is there an American Made requirement?

Government Response: Two conditions must be present for the Buy American Act to apply: (1) the procurement must be intended for public use within the United States; and

(2) the items to be procured or the materials from which they are manufactured must be present in the United States in sufficient and reasonably available commercial quantities of a satisfactory quality. In short, no, it does not meet both stipulations for the Buy American Act to apply. Government Response: Please see “Fiberglass Reinforced Plastic (FRP) Grating - Item Description (Version 2)”
